Typed directly from life in a single session in 2014, perched this time on the top step the steps at the top of Richmond Hill. One of my favourite views in London was the focus but distracted once again by a handrail and the urge to capture a larger percentage of nature than usual made me stop at the top of these steps and do a short study. As I was busily typing the trees and green, a bus snuck past the small gap at the bottom of the green / steps – I had to include it as it brings the whole scene back to a London one instantly. I can’t deny where I am!
The artwork is unframed and measures 11.2 x 17cm.
This is an original work of typewriter art on Arches 100% cotton watercolour paper. This original comes unframed but protected in a sleeve with backing board with gold-embossed Keira Rathbone stamp for authentication, then wrapped in gold embossed tissue, so even if you are giving an unframed piece as a present it will be beautifully presented. Bespoke framing can be added to your order, takes 2-3 weeks , available double-glazed ‘floating’ style, in either stained black or satin white (see examples of previous works framed in this way to the left in the gallery) and is an additional £50 for this size. Please contact me if you would like to add framing and I will assist you personally.
