Every time a particular typewriter seems to be getting used repeatedly over a period of time, it is considered a Weapon of Choice, and must be typed. In this instance, in 2014, it was the smallish greyish green ‘Baby’ typewriter – a very useful little typewriter for taking to events and typicting from life – a stripped-back set of characters and could not withstand the abuse , eventually it gave up the ghost. Not even the typewriter repair shop could fix it.
