This is a limited edition print run of 150.
I was lucky enough to be invited to Ivrea, the birthplace of Olivetti Typewriters (and amazing cultural traditions, and people) in June for La Grande Invasion, a fantastic little festival of letters.
The wonderful Alice Biancotto (founder of Laboratorio-Museo Tecnologicamente and co-organiser of the Invasione) let me take my pic of typewriters from her museum of technology to display in my exhibition at Mama B boutique.
I typed this machine, the Olivetti ICO, because it was the original portable typewriter. And I love the way the hammer arms are laid out.
Contact me if you wish to add framing (floating/sandwiched glass with square moulding in stained black or white) £75 for this size and takes 2-3 weeks.
