A 12x12cm original work of typewriter art on Arches 100% cotton paper. Made using the characters of an old manual typewriter .
The Daffodil came to mind as right now in this ‘downtime’ I personally feel that although its a terribly worrying time, it has also forced us to live in the present, with family and friends, neighbours and online / offline communities reaching out to help and support one another. The daffodil supposedly symbolised Hope, Renewal and Prosperity , and I am clinging on to those ideas , that this time will help us to appreciate what we have, and that in a crisis people can do amazing things.. I keep thinking of Greta Thunberg pointing out (to New Scientist) that ” It also shows that once we are in an emergency, we can act and we can change our behaviour quickly,”
So I’m thinking of humanity as well as the planet with this one.
This original typic comes ‘loose’ with ‘Keira Rathbone Typewriter Artist’ gold branded backing board and protected with a cellophane sleeve.
It also has inside the cellophane sleeve loose typed and cut-out letters that make up the words HOPE RENEWAL and PROSPERITY, which I would frame loose in the frame if I were to frame it.
Postage options are 1st class Royal Mail or Royal Mail Signed for .
