After completing the Westward View, I couldn’t resist capturing something of the East (or rather, Southeast) from the same high point, so went about typing the Eastward View from the Sky Garden of 20 Fenchurch Street, London.
Typed direct from the window, with public and the building’s office workers milling about, watching and occasionally stopping to talk/comment. Looking out towards Tower Bridge, The Tower of London and what might be St James Duke’s Place Church as well as the river / river life were the more interesting features in the scene – which I could type about. Somehow, other areas remain vague shapes, whose features I couldn’t – or did not feel compelled to go into detail about.
Type-signed in a detailed part of the image (the place where you’d be most likely to find me if I were in the scene).
Original Typic on Arches 100% cotton watercolour paper. 22 width x 46cm height (image size). Framed.
